Pythagore Construction is an engineer-led design-build firm based in Greater Moncton and Shediac. We take on three kinds of work: custom homes, major renovations, and commercial construction management. We design and build custom homes across New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, from Greater Moncton and Shediac to Fredericton, Saint John, Halifax, and Charlottetown. As a design-build firm, we coordinate architecture, engineering, selections, and pricing before construction begins, so decisions are made on paper, where changes cost nothing, and the number you approve is the number we build to.
Led by a Civil Engineer and PMP-certified project manager, every home is engineered to exceed code, not just meet it. We specialize in energy-efficient, high-performance construction, including Nudura insulated concrete form (ICF) builds made for the Maritime climate. Every home is backed by a 10-Year Atlantic Home Warranty and full builder insurance through Intact.
Renovation is where engineering-led planning matters most, because the biggest risks are hidden inside existing walls. We plan additions, whole-home transformations, and structural renovations the same way we plan a new build: investigate first, price against reality, then build without surprises.
We renovate homes across New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, with much of our work concentrated around Greater Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview, and Shediac. Before founding Pythagore, our team led commercial construction in healthcare and institutional settings: hospitals, nursing homes, dental and medical clinics, and energy-efficiency projects for the Department of National Defence. That is the standard we bring to every commercial engagement.
Today we take on dental and medical clinic renovations and fit-outs, multi-unit residential projects, and owner-side construction project management across the Maritimes.
